The Puribi-Puraba Community Hall in Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai buzzed with energy and a shared purpose on September 25th, 2024. Volunteers from a fantastic array of local organizations – the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors (AVBD), Manipur, Lonja Alepa Foundation, Indian Red Cross Society (Imphal East & West District Branches), Personality and Talent Development Organisation (PATDO), Lainingthou Sanamahi Lup (LSL), and Imphal East District United Clubs’ Organisation (IEDUCO), under the aegis of AMUCO – came together for a vital tree plantation drive. From 9:00 a.m. to noon, the spirit of collaboration was palpable as individuals worked side-by-side to plant trees, fostering not only a greener environment but also stronger community bonds. This event serves as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when dedicated individuals unite for a common cause.
